Some breeds of canines are amazing with families and are good for smaller living spaces like apartments or those that have no room for yards. These can be great companions for others like seniors and singles, those who prefer to live alone yet with someone they can share a life with. The dogs that make the best kind of loyal friendships given in these environments are some of the most beloved and amazingly gifted in many places.

The most excellent breeds of canines have great natures for the home. The Standard Poodle Yorkie is a breed developed from two of the most recognized by the American Kennel Club or AKC and has been around for many years, giving loyalty and friendship to many satisfied owners. The AKC runs a system that creates standards and qualities for all dogs that are raised and bred in kennels or other places through America.

Bred from Yorkshire Terriers and Toy Poodles, the Yorkie is a little dog that has so much energy and liveliness without being too frenetic. They enjoy a light, fun atmosphere and endeavor to create this around the home, taking masters out of their gloom. Yorkies are as much a backyard as all the other breeds, despite their being small.

These are the best suited types for roles as lapdogs, and enjoy being with children, adults and seniors. They have the warmest attitudes and are quite attuned to the emotions of their masters, and have the most amazing understanding of human ways. Yorkies, though, are still be recognized as a legitimate or real breed by all the organizations that apply like the AKC.

The demand was to have the best qualities of the Yorkshire Terrier and Toy Poodle, which are affection, intelligence and gentleness. They have developed into creatures who are eager to please.

Do not underestimate their smallness, because they belong to a type which makes good guardians of the heart. Their barks are sharp and authoritative, because they have courage that is derived from a breed which was once the most prevalent house guards in the English countryside. Again, size does not matter for these specifically gifted specimens. They like running and leaping high and are quite good at them.

Known for their intelligence, they are easily taught tricks. For competitive shows and other organized events, they perform some of the best acts that are well known throughout the business. The can be the best popular showstoppers, because they love playing up to an audience to please their masters. Perhaps the best known trait of the breed is being clownish, which they never tire of doing especially in competition.

Yorkies are also visually exciting and therefore have been given good grades for show and grooming criteria. Their parent breeds have imparted quite a good mix in their genes, so they are more and more becoming greatly popular in competition for this reason. Many think that they will quickly become the next new breed of canine.

Other interesting and unique characteristics recognized for them is their tolerance for extremes in climate, their adaptability and their being great for beginning owners, their sensitivity and their good health.
