What Is Best Option For Wii Repairs?

By James Pierce

As a seventh generation console, Wii competes with other generation console such as the Microsoft's Box 360 and Sony's play station. It is a social and active entertainment service that brings the whole family together. Unlike other generation console, it is a fun and intuitive game that is enhanced by our body motions.

I normally unwind with my Wii but had a very harsh and unsettling experience when I first updated my Wii system and was alerted to the fact that I had less than 3GB's of memory left over. All out of the total 8GB's. This seems to be where my problems began. The operation system was getting very slow and unstable as I tried to do normal everyday things such as access the settings and noticed it was taking a lot longer than normal. Not to mention the amount of time it was taking to do simple things such as open images or sounds effects.

Once these problems started to pop up. I decided to go out and buy a thumb drive and add to the system. This seemed to be a temporary fix as it appeared to work very well at the beginning but after a small amount of time other complications started to appear. I was told the USB port had become outdated and as a result the transmission of data slowed down and the amount of power was being limited to 500mA of current per port. Then it was time to find Wii repair. I had to find a way to resolve all of these issues and get my Wii fixed once and for all.

For a while I thought of sending the machine to a repair house but only to realize that their services are too expensive and most of their clients are not trustworthy when it comes to repair of the gadget. As a result of these I decided that the Wii repair manual was the right thing to do. I was able to do my own repair and upgrades and not have to deal with sending it out and saved a load of money. This totally makes me feel empowered by being able to do things like this myself and my family looked up to me at the same time, the minute I turned the Wii back on and we were up and playing games again.

As always everyone points out that the real option is to send your Wii out for upgrades or repair. Then you read about the real nightmare stories of the long wait times and the Wii coming back in worse condition or not coming back at all. I knew this was not the route I wanted to take. There had to be another option. Then I came across reviews of a Wii Fix Guide website. Most of the reviews were really good and talking about great step by step plans with images and to top it off live email support. I had to go this route. After a short time of doing my Wii repair and upgrades I had my Wii up and running again.
