Start by taking time to back up data in your smart phone. This will avoid the unnecessary loss of vital data to the user. Use a computer whole doing this, by browsing through the apps till you find the iTunes app. Click on the Sync command.

Before you start the maintenance program, make sure that you have all necessary tools for this task. You ought to get a maintenance kit that carries all these necessary tools in their right size. Ensure that the kit contains dryers, tweezers and screw drivers because they play an important role in this task. You also need some replacement devices. However, they should be of good quality because such parts are delicate.

Normally the phones are joined together using some screws at the bottom just next to the USB port. Thus, one should first unscrew the parts next to this port then place them on a surface from where you are working form. Look at flap connections normally at the top corner on your right. Screens are usually handled by these flaps. After that, lift flaps with a lot of care using a wedging tool.

A sticker usually holds the second flap. A black clamp that is located near the screen needs to be detached from the third connection. Upon lifting the third clamp, do ensure its screen is carefully detached from the rest of the phone shell. A little pressure maybe required at times so as to detach the screen.

Unscrew the rest of the screws. In most cases, they will be six located on the flaps, sides and the last one on the top right. A black tape is used to cover the screws from exposure hence use a sharp razor blade to remove it from each screw head. Carefully, detach the glass screen from the LCD screen. Slide the LCD glass towards the home button to clear the top flanges, apply some little force on the metal piece if need be.

Take your time to ensure that you free the LCD glass completely. Avoid causing damage to a plastic casing because it can be used again. Ensure you clear out each single tiny bit of these glasses by using a dryer with controlled heat. This will prevent you from damaging plastic parts.

Get the new screen. Apply the super glue carefully and not close to the Home button and the ear piece. Give the glue time to set for a while and afterwards attach the LCD screen back. Make sure the clamps slide in to shape and nicely. Attach the six screws, reinserting the cable into its black clamp. Connect all cables to their connectors and put the screen back to the phone making sure it fits nicely. Insert back the USB screws to place.
